Course description
The Bachelor of Physiotherapy is a comprehensive undergraduate programme that equips students with the knowledge and skills required to assess, diagnose and treat physical conditions that affect movement and function. The course integrates foundational medical sciences with specialised physiotherapy training, emphasising manual therapy, therapeutic exercises and electrotherapy.
Students will gain hands-on clinical experience in hospitals, rehabilitation centres and community settings. The curriculum covers Anatomy, physiology, Biomechanics, Exercise therapy, Electrotherapy, Orthopaedics, Neurology and Cardiorespiratory physiotherapy

Physiotherapist assess, Diagnose and treat patents to restore movement and function
a. Musculo skeletal physiotherapy

f. Women’s health physiotherapy

Eligibility criteria for admission
1. Candidates should have completed 17 years of age as in 31st December of the admission year
2. Candidate for admission to the course shall have passed the higher secondary examination conducted by board of higher secondary education, Govt of Kerala or examinations recognized equivalent there to by the Kerala university of health sciences through full time regular mode of study with 50%marks in aggregate for physics, chemistry and biology put together and separate minimum pass marks for physics, chemistry and biology. The aggregate mark should be calculated based on the pass criteria adopted by the concerned board conducting the qualifying examination.
